やっぱり決定しましたね。オランダ・ロック・フェスティバルのPinkpopにポール・マッカートニーが参加する事になりました。
出演日は、2016年6月12日・最終日です。
PinkpopのHPには、‘Let It Be’, ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Band On The Run’, ‘Yesterday’, ‘Pipes Of Peace’, ‘Silly Love Songs’, ‘Live and Let Die’, ’Lady Madonna’ en ‘NEW’とポールの曲を紹介していますが、もし、これらの曲目を演奏するとなると、大騒ぎですね。

定番の曲だけでなく、これまでライヴで演奏した事がない「Pipes Of Peace」、そして、ファンから要望されている「Silly Love Songs」を演奏する事になれば、楽しさ倍増です。
勿論、噂されているニュー・アルバムからも演奏されれば、ライヴでは初公開になる可能性もあるので、ワクワクしますね。

“I love a festival audience and we plan to close Pinkpop with a massive party. I’ve not done a festival in the Netherlands before so it will be an exciting new experience for me and for the audience, so we can all rock out together. Get ready Pinkpop we’re on our way. See you in June.”

今年はオランダから開始と思いきや、なんと、もう１つ発表が同時にありました。
2016年6月30日に開催されるベルギーのRock Werchterにも参加する事が正式決定しました！

6月にEUでの野外フェスティバルに参加すると言うことは…6月から7月にEUツアーが行われるかもしれませんね。
それにしても、同時発表とは…驚きです。6月のEUは、ポール祭りです！
